What happened last week in women's EuroLeague?

  • Fenerbahce, EuroLeague's most star-studded squad, tore Polkowice apart, 111-61. In her debut, Satou Sabally scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting and Breanna Stewart, who also made her first appearance of the season, scored 14 on just 3-of-11 shooting. Emma Meesseman led all scorers with 25 on 11-of-13 shooting, and Kayla McBride chipped in 17 with four 3-pointers. For Polkowice, Erica Wheeler scored 13 points.

  • Mersin's WNBA powerhouse squad of Chelsea Gray, DeWanna Bonner, Briann January and Tiffany Hayes beat Bridget Carleton's Avenida, 85-80.

  • Arella Guirantes's nine points, seven assists and five rebounds helped DVTK squeak out a close, 65-63, win over Marina Mabrey, Rhyne Howard, Astou Ndour and Schio.

  • Ezi Magbegor's 10 points and nine rebounds helped Sopron seal a 71-64 win over Mechelen.

  • Marie Gulich's 17 points and seven boards lifted Valencia over Iliana Rupert's Bologna, 75-73.

  • Rebekah Gardner torched Landes for 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting to lead Girona to a 65-54 win.

  • Alyssa Thomas and Brionna Jones combined for 39 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists to blow out Szekszard, 95-56. Which league is this again lmao?

  • Megan Gustafson continued her strong showing for Olympiacos with 21 points and 10 rebounds, but Bourges won big time, 81-66.
