Friday, October 28 update: Most mainstream sportsbooks have finally posted odds. #BetOnWomen!!! It's about damn time.

Here's an updated list of all the places offering odds on the 2022 NWSL Championship match:

If sportsbooks aren't your style, Gaming Society has you covered. We've partnered up with the NWSL to give YOU our free-to-play #BetOnWomen Predictor Game!

Just make your predictions for Thorns vs. Current in the 2022 NWSL Championship for a chance to win a $400 NWSL shopping spree!

The Portland Thorns and Kansas City Current kick off the NWSL Championship this Saturday, October 29 at 8 p.m. ET. Two of the most talented teams in women's soccer are meeting up for a championship... yet somehow, just four days out from the match, we have just one place to bet on it.

As of October 26, the only sportsbook offering odds on the NWSL Championship game is Caesar's Sportsbook. Their odds favor the Thorns to win at -170 (Bet $17 to win $10), with the Current sitting as underdogs at +130 (Bet $10 to win $13).

The fact that there's just one sportsbook is symbolic of a much larger problem limiting the growth and popularity of women's sports, even despite interest. The two highest-attended NWSL playoff games of all time have come this month with 26,215 showing out in San Diego.

Now, just because odds aren't available yet doesn't mean they won't be available eventually.

FanDuel has been posting game lines approximately 48 hours ahead of kick off through the NWSL playoffs. Once FanDuel's odds are live, they'll populate here, and new users to the site can claim a No-Sweat First Bet up to $1,000.

DraftKings Sportsbook has had lines posted for the NWSL title previously, but TBD on a timeline for match odds for the championship.

Before you place your bets, be sure to check out what to expect and who to watch ahead of Saturday's match.
