She just became the first person to win National Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. Lol, you’re damn right we’re betting on Aliyah Boston in the Final Four.

Regardless of how this tournament shakes out, the 6-foot-5 center has proven she’s the best player in the world, able to dominate elite competition all year long and be the anchor on both ends for the No. 1 team in the nation 💪

Her 28 (!!) double-doubles led any women’s player, and a laugh-out-loud-incredible 27 of them came IN A ROW. That streak went from November 29 until March 25 (!!) and included games against No. 8 Maryland, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Duke, No. 17 Georgia, No. 21 Kentucky and No. 24 Ole Miss

Literally nobody can stop her, and South Carolina went 33-2 (and counting) because of it.

The Gamecocks will see another No. 1, Louisville, in the tourney’s semifinals, and though projected first-round pick Emily Engstler and center Olivia Cochran won’t be easy to take down, I don’t see the Cardinals stopping Boston’s motor.

That’s why our bet is on Aliyah Boston to double-double, like usual 💅, in the Final Four.

🥳  Betting on Aliyah Boston is fun because…

  • She’s the most dominant player in the country!
  • After a heart-breaking Final Four loss last year, South Carolina is BACK to take it all
  • It’s literally weird when she *doesn’t* put up numbers most players could only dream of

🧐  Betting on Aliyah Boston is smart because…

  • She’s averaging 16.8 points and 12.2 rebounds this season!
  • The Gamecocks have the No. 1 Her Hoops Stats rating in the country. This is their year!!
  • Louisville will be SC’s toughest opponent yet. She may have to play 35 or more minutes, which has only been necessary three times this year!
