It’s your day, Tennessee fans!! Both the men’s and women’s teams are set to tip off in back-to-back games as heavy favorites. The No. 3 men will play No. 11 Michigan for a spot in the Sweet 16, and the No. 4 women will play No. 13 Buffalo in the opening round.

The women tip off the first game of the afternoon, and it’s gonna be a toughie with star guard Jordan Horston set to miss another contest with a fractured dislocation of her left elbow that’s left her sidelined for a month.

But we’re ALL the way in on Tamari Key to step up in her absence. The 6-foot-6 center is a shot-swatting legend tallying 3.7 blocks per game to go along with 10.6 points and 8.5 boards. I mean, she double-doubled with 10 blocks against South Carolina!! It was her third game with 10 or more blocks on the season.

The men, meanwhile, are coming off a first-round blowout over No. 14 Longwood that saw them shoot a season-best 60% from the field. They made 14-of-24 threes. Sheesh! Santiago Vescovi sunk six threes of his own, and potential NBA first-round pick Kennedy Chandler totaled a well-rounded 13 points with five rebounds and five assists.

The Volunteers are red-hot, and that’s why our Bet of the Day is a parlay for both University of Tennessee teams to pull off wins.

🥳 Betting on Tennessee is fun because…

  • 6-foot-6 Tamari Key is a STAR. She became the single-season leading shot-blocker in UT women’s history (113 in 31 games)
  • Two freshmen (!!) lead the men in scoring. Kennedy Chandler and Santiago Vescovi are a PROBLEM!
  • The men have yet to make a Final Four in program history! The women are seeking their 9th title, and first since 2008

🧐 Betting on Tennessee is smart because…

  • The Vols men’s team ranks No. 6 in Ken Pomeroy’s advanced stats despite being just a No. 3 seed
  • The men’s team is red-hot, coming off an SEC championship
  • Both teams are heavy favorites! The men hold odds at -240 (bet $240 to win $100), and the women are at -580 (bet $580 to win $100)
