No. 1 Baylor men vs. No. 8 UNC +195 (bet $100 to win $195)
UNC picked the perfect time to peak. The Tar Heels put on an absolute clinic in the first round, defeating Marquette by a whopping 32 points, with a program-record 13 threes. Caleb Love’s six 3s tied the record for most by a Heel in any NCAA Tournament game. Where Love goes, the rest of the team follows. And we could be feeling Love in the air against Baylor…
No. 7 UCF women vs. No. 10 Florida +235 (bet $100 to win $580)
The Gators have no quit this season. Interim head coach Kelly Rae Finley stepped in to lead Florida’s dynamic guard duo of Kiara Smith and Zippy Broughton. With Smith suffering a devastating knee injury in the SEC tourney, Broughton is going to have to put in double the work. But what we like about this team is its strength in the face of adversity, and they might just defy the odds.
No. 8 Murray State men vs. No. 15 Saint Peter’s +290 (bet $100 to win $290)
Saint Peter’s is everything we love about March – OT madness and improbable upsets (No. 2 Kentucky). The Peacocks’ two shooters, Daryl Banks III and Doug Edert, went OFF against the Wildcats, as Banks notched a career-high 27 points while Edert tallied 20. The win marked the first for the program in NCAA Tournament history, and we might just like this team to be our Cinderella.
No. 6 BYU women vs. No. 11 Villanova +580 (bet $100 to win $580)
This is putting our faith, hopes and pocketbooks in Big East Player of the Year Maddy Siegrist’s hands. The junior forward standout set a new conference single-season scoring record (27.9 PPG), and we believe she’s going to keep firing. It’s about to be a battle of conference players of the year where we’re eyeing Siegrist to show up and show out against BYU’s Shaylee Gonzales.
