The complete upset carnage list:

No. 1 Gonzaga lost 67-57 to No. 23 St. Mary’s

No. 2 Arizona lost 79-63 to Colorado

No. 3 Auburn lost 67-62 to No. 17 Tennessee

No. 4 Purdue lost 68-65 to Michigan State

No. 5 Kansas lost 80-70 to No. 10 Baylor

No. 6 Kentucky lost 75-73 to No. 18 Arkansas

While the top of the list faltered, the rest of the top-25 pulled off dubs, including No. 11 Providence (who earned Big East regular season title in the process), No. 12 UCLA and No. 13 Wisconsin.

March is about to be poppin’!

So what is the top-25 looking like now?

Teams jumbled around a bit. The former top three seeds respectively are now No. 1 Gonzaga, No. 2 Arizona and No. 6 Kansas after falling on the road in hostile environments. Now No. 7 Kentucky dropped just one spot while No. 11 Purdue and No. 12 Texas Tech saw harsher falls.

Selection Sunday is less than two weeks away, when the tournament’s field of 68 teams will be announced, and we can’t wait to see who makes the cut.

Takeaway

It’s called March Madness for a reason. The path to the title is going to be WILD and it’s anyone’s to win. The top-5 seeds are all going to be high-caliber, but not impenetrable, so get your popcorn ready because there’s a lot more mayhem coming.
