The NFL’s best teams are having a tough time handling business.

The underdogs are barking

Underdogs are eatin’ in the league this season.

There’s a smorgasbord of stats we could serve you on their success, but here’s a sampler: NFL underdogs went 9-5 against the spread (ATS) in Week 10, bringing the total for underdogs to 87-62-1 ATS. That’s good for a 57% win rate.

Every matchup has a dog, but there are two games in Week 11 that caught our eye — and they both have one thing in common: PRIMETIME TV slots!!

1. Chargers vs. Steelers on SNF: Pittsburgh is the dog (+5.5) but we’re wary of touching this one as Big Ben isn’t guaranteed to return from COVID-19 protocols by gametime.

Mason Rudolph will be the starter in his absence, and after tying with the winless Lions in Week 10, betting on him to cover a nosebleed would be questionable.

2. Bucs vs. the Giants (+11): Here it is. The primetime game to bet. MNF. *cue Carrie Underwood* And no, we’re not overreacting to Tom Brady & Co’s embarrassing loss to the Washington Football team last weekend.

These are two teams that are trending in opposite directions. Coming off a bye week, Saquon Barkley is expected to finally return to NY’s backfield to wreak havoc on a defensive line missing monster nose tackle Vita Vea – not to mention the Bucs’ secondary is in shambles.

Tip of the day

Watch out for Danny Dimes to have fun with his arsenal of weapons including wideout Kadarius Toney, who’s due for a breakout. Meanwhile, Tom Brady is just 3-6 ATS this season, and in eight games against the Giants, TB12 has only secured a victory by double digits twice.
