Dorka Juhasz stepped up big time on both ends of the court for the UConn Huskies in her final season. The 6-foot-5 center’s scoring average doubled to 14.3 points per game while her shooting numbers rose from 45.7 to 50.3%. That's why the Minnesota Lynx selected her No. 16 overall.
She also fired off more shots from range than her first season under Geno Auriemma, making 24-of-83 attempts (28.9%). It’s a start! Juhasz will be a bit of a project in the W, but one worth taking on.

Dorka Juhasz’s final season by the numbers: 14.2 points per game, 50.3 % FG, 9.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.4 blocks, 2.1 turnovers, 28.9 3-point %, 60.2 FT%
Juhasz is undeniably a project, and may not get too much run in her first season, but finding a 6-foot-5 talent is hard, and it’s even harder to find one with scoring touch like Juhasz. Be excited for where her game develops in the coming years.
