If you thought the final home regular season game of her career was going to be all about Sue Bird, you were wrong. A new GOAT has entered the building, and she sports fresh glasses and a pink fit.

Someone’s child delivered the most adorable moment of the night, attempting to give Bird a flower seconds before a second quarter inbound pass.

“Can you hold it for me?” Bird, who I can not stress enough, was playing in a game against the No. 2 team in the WNBA, said before tossing the ball in play.

Listen Sue, if you wanted your flowers, you were given the chance to take ‘em. 

It’s unclear if she ever got to hand Bird the trophy of the night, but she was seen still holding it during Bird’s postgame speech.

I can only hope Bird will return the favor one day.
