Grace Berger’s fifth season went as well as it could’ve until an upset in the tournament. The Indiana Hoosiers earned their franchise’s first-ever No. 1 seed, earning wins over powerhouse schools like Maryland and Tennessee. Berger was one of the featured stars, averaging 12.9 points and dishing 5.8 assists with 4.8 rebounds. That's why the Indiana Fever took her with the No. 7 pick.
She’s a mid-range assassin, which, contrary to the discourse, still holds some weight when you can shoot as well as she can from that area. The question is if she’ll be able to maintain the same levels of efficiency against bigger and stronger competition.

Grace Berger’s ceiling: Role player
Grace Berger’s final season by the numbers: 12.9points per game, 48.4 % FG, 4.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.3 blocks, 2.5 turnovers, 40.7 3-point %, 75.7 FT%
Berger isn’t super flashy, but she’s really efficient in the mid-range and has a knack for not only knowing where her spots are, but getting to them. It’ll be a whole different game going up against a Chelsea Gray or an Aerial Powers, but so is life. Berger appears to have the tools to make a WNBA roster.
