The Timberwolves looked like they had Game 3 for … nearly the entire night. After three quarters, Minnesota led, 83-67, as Patrick Beverley picked the Grizz apart and Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell traded buckets.

But this Memphis team doesn’t quit, and proceeded to tie the league’s road playoff record for largest margin of victory in the fourth quarter, outscoring Minny 37-12 to take a nine-point win.

Desmond Bane led the way with 26 points with seven 3-point makes, Brandon Clarke scored 20 and Ja Morant triple-doubled (the first in Grizzlies playoff history) with 16 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

Gaming Society’s MVP of the night: Anyone brave enough to take a live bet on Memphis before the comeback

Man, some of you people are really wild for taking the Grizzlies +2800 (bet $100 to win $2,800) or worse amid their 26-point deficit to the Timberwolves. This team looked toast!

Yet there was this person who parlayed the Grizzlies’ and Mavs’ moneylines to turn $400 into $40,000, and this person who turned $362 into $5,485.

And ya know what, shouts to the people who bet the Memphis spread at -1.5 pregame and had to sweat that one out. You’re the real MVPs.
