Is UConn about to win another NCAA men's basketball championship?

Since Robert Downey Jr. took up the helm of Iron Man, no school has won more than the Huskies (and yes, that includes six on titles on the women's side). The men have two national titles of their own, and currently are the betting favorite to win a third.

Can Kemba Walker's alma mater cement itself as an NCAA staple?

Get to know UConn

The short: Remember when everyone left the Big East? That was a sad time, mostly because it took away all of the storied rivals of UConn's past. Now it has regular games against Butler and Xavier, but still, the basketball prominence shines through. The Big East sent five schools to the NCAA tournament and three made the Sweet 16. The Huskies are the last man standing, even after placing fourth in their conference.

Head Coach Dan Hurley: No, not the Duke one. Dan Hurley went to school at St. John's and started coaching at the Division I level in 2010 with Wagner. He got the UConn job after taking Rhode Island to two consecutive NCAA tournaments. It had been a rough go for Hurley as his teams had never made it past the Round of 32, but even though he may be lose in seniority to the other three coaches left in the Final Four, he may have the best player.

The Huskies' big man is their star: Adama Sanogo, the 6-foot-9 junior from Mali, leads the Huskies in both points and rebounds and has been dominant during the magical run. He flourishes in the paint and has had a block on the defensive end in every game so far. He needs to continue his strong showing should the Huskies move forward as their opponent Miami plays a small lineup. Sanogo winning his individual matchup will be pivotal for team success.

An easy road?: Before taking on Drew Timme and the Zags, UConn did not face a team ranked higher than a No. 5 seed all tournament. They have taken care of business, however, winning every game by 15 or more points. Should the going get tough late it will be interesting to see how this team reacts.
