For many NFL franchises, the 2022 NFL season has been less than stellar. But it’s difficult to imagine any teams hoping that this nightmare of a season ends faster than the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos.

While they aren't the worst teams in the league (close!), they’re arguably the most disappointing. Arizona had a projected win total of 8.5 on FanDuel coming into the season. The Broncos' win total was even loftier at 9.5.

Suffice it to say, neither team is going to hit that over. Not even close.

The Cardinals currently sit at 4-9 and the Broncos a truly woeful 3-10. Russell Wilson is questionable to play for the Broncos, which is good or bad news depending on how much you enjoy deeply unwatchable quarterback play. With Kyler Murray out for the season for the Cardinals, it seems we’re likely to be treated to a matchup between backup quarterbacks for two teams with less than to play for (not even draft position).

The total in this game sits at 36.5 points. That might not sound like a lot, but it does for rosters in this state.
