As The Purdy Turns...

Here I thought Hollywood was in Southern California. NOPE. The best Soap Opera being filmed right now resides in San Francisco and it stars rookie quarterback, Brock Purdy!

Trey Lance was supposed to be the leading man but early reviews got producers to write him off the show for ol' reliable — the man known as Pretty Jimmy. Sadly, Jimmy G broke his foot learning a tango number for the big break-up scene at the school dance and had to take a leave of absence from the show.

So who was there to take his place? A no-name extra sitting in catering, excited to be on set for the first time.

Brock "Lesnar" Purdy

Purdy faced off in his first telenovela feud with arguably the greatest soap opera actor of our lives, Tom Brady, and beat him down worse than Brock Lesnar beat John Cena in 2014.

Now it wouldn't be a good episode of a soap opera without an end-of-episode cliffhanger, right? Turns out, our hero did not come out of his fight with Brady unscathed...
