On paper, the Raiders traveling to Denver to play the Broncos doesn’t have much intrigue. But we assure you, this is a game that will probably make the loser feel things.
On one side, Derek Carr last weekend was all up in his feelings after a disappointing loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Similarly, Russell Wilson is also almost definitely not an android robot without the capacity to process human emotions. Almost definitely. We’re pretty sure.
It hasn’t been a banner season for either team, with both the Broncos and Raiders being all but eliminated from playoff contention. But interestingly, both teams' losses have all been by only one possession — with the exception of the Raiders' 32-23 win at home Week 4. We anticipate another close game in this spot but lean towards the Broncos winning by at least three points at home.
We’re less bullish on whether Russell Wilson could pass the Bechdel test, however.
