JuJu Smith-Schuster is back, baby!
When it came out that Marquez Valdes-Scantling earned a three-year, $30 million contract with the Chiefs, most people were all but writing off Smith-Schuster. His deal paled in comparison to Valdes-Scantling's — a base contract for one-year, $2.49 million.
He does have plenty of incentives to keep going, too. Per Spotrac, here are Smith-Schuster's potential bonuses:
$60,000 per game active bonus
$500,000 for 40 receptions; $1 million for 50 receptions; $1.5 million for 65 receptions
$500,000 for 500 receiving yards; $1 million for 650 receiving yards; $1.5 million for 900 receiving yards
$500,000 for 45% of snaps played; $1.5 million for 65% of snaps played
