The Vikings just can’t get no respect, I tell ya

Coming off a victory in the game of the year (decade? century?) against the Buffalo Bills on the road—which felt like a microcosm of Minnesota’s entire season with the various bounces that went their way—the Vikings find themselves as underdogs at home this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys.

While the Vikings boast an 8-1 record, Dallas has looked very good in their own right — especially on the defensive side of the ball where they rank fourth in the league in turnover differential. The Cowboys offense also appears to have hit its stride with CeeDee Lamb catching two touchdowns last week and Tony Pollard’s impressive running making most fans say “Zeke who?”

But how can you in good conscience pick against the Vikings at this point? The offense is looking very spicy, and on defense — between Danielle Hunter, Za’Darius Smith, Eric Kendricks, Jordan Hicks and Harrison Smith — Minnesota has likely Pro Bowlers at every level.

Dallas should be another tough matchup, but we think the Vikings have definitely earned some respect at this point.

Also, I have this urge to watch the movie Ladybugs all of the sudden.
