Before the NFL season kicked off the New York Giants were projected to have a grand total of seven wins on the season. 'Twas a rebuilding year for new head coach Brian Daboll, supposedly, as his team was cutting players to save salary cap space, starting younger skill position players over expensive veterans and ogling over college quarterbacks.

Fast forward to Week 7 and the woebegone Giants have beaten both Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson to improve their record to a casual 5-1.

FIVE and ONE.

They now travel to the 2-4 Jacksonville Jaguars. So it totally makes sense that the JAGUARS ARE FAVORED TO WIN THE GAME?!?!?!?

Are the Giants getting disrespected or are the sportsbooks onto something?

The G-men have one of the best rushing offenses in the league, thanks to the return of the Quad God. Saquon Barkley is second in the league in rushing and averages over five yards a carry. The dude has been a monster.

The Jaguars surprisingly are third in the league in rushing defense, only letting up 89.3 yards per game. They’ve held greats such as Jonothan Taylor, Antonio Gibson, Damion Pierce and Austin Ekeler each to under 100 yards rushing. Could this be the Giants' Achilles heel?

Am I seriously convincing myself to take the JAGUARS as a FAVORITE against a FIVE AND ONE TEAM?

I need a drink.
